Nicole Jevtovic, Founder & Mediator

Experience in Family Mediation

Nicole has extensive experience working with families navigating separation and relationship breakdown. As both a family lawyer and mediator, she understands the legal and emotional complexities that can arise in family disputes.

Nicole’s mediation approach focuses on creating a structured and supportive environment where both parties have the opportunity to be heard and explore practical options for resolution. The aim of mediation is to assist parties to reach workable agreements that support the wellbeing of children and allow families to move forward.

Mediation may address issues such as:

  • parenting arrangements and parenting plans

  • communication and decision-making for children

  • property settlement and financial matters

  • resolving disputes without the need for court proceedings

Nicole is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) and is authorised to conduct mediation in accordance with the requirements of the Family Law Act.

In many parenting matters, parties are required to attempt Family Dispute Resolution before commencing proceedings in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Where appropriate, Nicole may issue a Section 60I certificate following the mediation process.

Family Dispute Resolution aims to help separating couples reach agreement in a confidential, structured and child-focused process.

Online Family Mediation Across Australia

Clarity Mediation Centre offers both in-person family law mediation on the Gold Coast and online mediation services across Australia.

Online mediation allows parties to participate from different locations using secure video conferencing and is often suitable where:

  • parties live in different cities or states

  • there are work or travel constraints

  • parties prefer not to attend mediation together in person

The online mediation process follows the same structured Family Dispute Resolution framework as in-person mediation.

A Resolution-Focused Approach

Nicole’s approach to mediation focuses on helping parties move beyond conflict and work towards practical solutions. Mediation allows separating couples to retain greater control over the outcome of their dispute and often provides a faster and more cost-effective alternative to court proceedings.

By facilitating constructive discussion and negotiation, mediation can help families reach agreements that are workable and sustainable for the future.
